Weight-- 10 lbs. 15 oz.
Height-- 23 inches long
She is such a smily little girl! & sleeping 5-7 hours at night ;)
I feel so spoiled because Avery didn't sleep 5 consecutive hours, especially at night until SEVERAL months after she was born!!!
**Our little Sweetheart**
Today when Joey got home from school he really wanted to go play 9 holes here at the golf course we live on, especially since the weather has been so nice, and its dirt cheap to play a really nice course! Avery insisted on going with him (like normal) and so Daddy agreed to take her. >>Fast forward --I'm feeding Ansley when they get home and Joey has this look on his face (one that I can tell something went wrong)... Joey explained that while he was on the 8th tee box waiting for the group in front of him to finish, he had his back to the cart with Avery in it. This was at least her 4th time going to play golf with him so he thought she'd be fine. He was gearing up to tee off (with his back towards her) and next thing he knew he heard the brake release on the golf cart... Avery was sitting up on the steering column backwards and the cart was headed straight for the steep down hill that leads to the water/pond. He said he kinda jogged her way and told her to take her foot off of the gas but at this point she had unintentionally pushed the gas to the floor from being scared. --While he is telling this part Avery then looks at me to tell me "Mom, I was driving the golf cart backwards"-- Joey said his heart was racing and he quickly dropped his club and took off running for the cart! He said he was able to catch the cart and stop it about 30-40 ft away from the hill. Joey said if the cart would have gotten to the hill it would have either rolled and tumbled down the hill throwing Avery from it, or just taken off down the hill with no chance to catch it before crashing into the water. (Man I wish I would've been there to see it and the looks on their faces and the people around them...hehehe) Easy for me to laugh since they are both home safe and sound as he tells me... Avery, what are we going to do with her?!?!

"Dad, Mommy can't know how to count!" -- Tonight Joey and I were discussing when Ansley's next check up will be. Joey asked me what months they go in at and I replied, " I think 1, 2, 4, 6, & 12." Avery not even a second later piped in, "no mom its 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12" and then said to Joey, "Dad, Mom can't know how to count!"
